The first car i am posting in my blog is my honda civic.It is a 2007 top end version and when i bought it it was black in colur(honda does not provide the glamoury option of chossing from wide range of colours) and then it was repainted to this flaming red colur!!..I am from souhtern part of tamilnadu where car modifying options are very less(i wish i could be in bangalore or delhi or mumbai).So i decide to mod it fully on coimbatore and madurai.Exterior modifications:
The car came with stock honda alloys and they were replaced by lenso 15" alloys(i wanted an 17" ride but the roads in my city are not suitable enough to drive my car in those inches).The tyres were upgraded to yokohoma s drive.Now lets come to the body part,i planned of having an type r kit installed and was searching for it and one of my friend who has a car modifying garage helped me in installing it!!The kit consisted of side skirts, custom front grille,meshed up grille and some stuffs.I thought of puting up an mugen spoiler but later abandoned(bcoz of my friends idea that it will ruin the back look) that idea and bought an honda spoiler from the dealer.
Interior mods:
I installed an pioneer audio system with one sub woofer and an monobase blaupunkt amplifier!!
The six cd changer in the honda civic is comfortable enough for me to have as an head unit!!.
The music system is not above extraordinary but it is worthy enough for its price and is enough for me..
Perfomance mods:
Coming to perfomance mods i installed an k&n air filter(i considered going for typhoon kit but i found out it is not worth of its price tag and is not fully suitable for indian conditions).
I also installed an magnaflow catback exhaust(i feel proud when saying magnaflow) and damn it guys its awesome!!the sound i hear once i start the car makes me feel happy and while cruising at high speeds the cars sound is mindblowing!!
Conclusion:
I may not have done extreme mods but i wanted my first car to be modded in a beginners way and i hope i had done it that way!!i love my car and i will continue to mod it !!!!
